COMPREHENSIVE RULES, REGULATIONS & ACCOUNTABILITY NOTICE

 

The Miss Ekimogun Beauty Pageant is a platform dedicated to celebrating the beauty, culture, and talent of young women while promoting the values of empowerment, cultural preservation, and community service. To ensure a fair, professional, and enriching experience, all contestants and winners are required to adhere to the following terms and conditions.

SECTION 1: Terms and Conditions for Contestants During Camp

  1. Eligibility and Pre-Camping Requirements

1.1 Age and Citizenship: Contestants must be female, between the ages of 18-27, and either originate from Ondo State or have strong cultural and ancestral ties to the state.
1.2 Health: Contestants must be in good physical and mental health, with a valid medical certificate submitted before camp entry.
1.3 Verification: Required documents (e.g., ID card, proof of origin, medical report, passport photographs) must be submitted and verified before entering camp.
1.4 Commitment: Contestants must be available for the entire camp duration and main event.
1.5 Dress Code: Contestants must adhere to prescribed dress codes provided before and during the camp.

  1. Attendance and Punctuality

2.1 All contestants must arrive at the camp venue on the designated date (November 30, 2024) and check in at the registration desk. Late arrivals without prior approval will result in disqualification.
2.2 Contestants must strictly adhere to the daily schedule and attend all activities punctually.

  1. Conduct and Behavior

3.1 Respect: Contestants must treat camp officials, mentors, fellow contestants, and guests with respect at all times.
3.2 Compliance: Contestants must comply with all instructions given by officials, mentors, and organizers. Defiance or insubordination will not be tolerated.
3.3 Prohibited Substances: Smoking, alcohol consumption, or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited during the camp. Violations will result in immediate disqualification.
3.4 Social Media: Social media posts must reflect the professionalism and values of Miss Ekimogun. Negative or inappropriate posts are prohibited.
3.5 Romantic Relationships: Contestants are prohibited from engaging in romantic or inappropriate relationships during the camp.

  1. Participation and Activities

4.1 Contestants must actively participate in all scheduled activities, including workshops, rehearsals, cultural presentations, and team-building exercises.
4.2 Morning fitness sessions and workshops on etiquette, public speaking, and cultural awareness are mandatory.
4.3 Unauthorized absence from activities or late arrivals will attract penalties.

  1. Property and Appearance

5.1 Contestants are responsible for the care of all personal belongings and camp materials provided. Negligence resulting in loss or damage will be penalized.
5.2 Contestants must wear the provided uniforms during official activities and maintain a polished, elegant appearance at all times.
5.3 Prohibited items, including drugs, alcohol, weapons, or inappropriate clothing, are not allowed in camp and will be confiscated.

  1. Media and Publicity

6.1 Contestants agree to allow their images, videos, and names to be used for promotional purposes by the organizers.
6.2 Unauthorized media interviews or public statements are not permitted.

  1. Health and Safety

7.1 Contestants must disclose any medical conditions before camp and follow all safety guidelines during activities.
7.2 Medical professionals will be on standby, and any health concerns must be reported immediately to the organizers.

SECTION 2: Terms and Conditions for Winners

  1. Responsibilities of the Crowned Queen

1.1 The crowned winner must serve as an ambassador of the Miss Ekimogun brand for one year, promoting culture, beauty, and empowerment.
1.2 The winner is expected to attend all Miss Ekimogun events, projects, and media engagements as directed by the organizers.

  1. Code of Conduct During Reign

2.1 The winner must maintain exemplary conduct during her reign. Scandals, controversies, or behavior that damages the pageant’s reputation will result in forfeiture of her title and prizes.
2.2 The winner must seek approval before engaging in public endorsements or activities that may conflict with the pageant’s values.

  1. Media and Public Engagement

3.1 The winner must honor all media and public relations commitments arranged by the organizers.
3.2 Unauthorized statements or interviews on behalf of the pageant are prohibited.

  1. Prize Ownership and Branding

4.1 The branded car awarded to the winner must remain branded for promotional purposes for two years and cannot be sold or transferred during this period.
4.2 The winner is responsible for the maintenance of the car during this period.

SECTION 3: Prize Policies

  1. Prize Presentation

1.1 Prizes will be presented during the Prize Presentation Ceremony during or before the end of the winner’s and runners-up’ tenure, at a venue announced by the organizers or sponsors.
1.2 Winners must be present to receive their prizes unless prior arrangements have been made.

  1. Cash Prize Policies

2.1 Cash prizes are tied to deliverables, including participation in Miss Ekimogun programs, cultural initiatives, and community outreach projects.
2.2 Winners must submit quarterly progress reports to ensure compliance. Failure to meet deliverables may result in partial or total forfeiture of cash prizes.

  1. Non-Cash Prizes

3.1 Scholarships, vouchers, and other non-cash prizes are non-transferable and must be used within the specified timeframe.

SECTION 4: General Provisions

  1. Disqualification

1.1 Contestants or winners found violating these terms will be disqualified and forfeit any awarded prizes.

  1. Final Authority

2.1 All decisions by the organizing committee are final and binding.

  1. Agreement and Acknowledgment

 

 

2026 OFFICIAL WARNING & ACCOUNTABILITY NOTICE

Introduction

This edition is not just a pageant. It is a test of discipline, character, leadership, influence, and responsibility.

Every contestant, finalist, runner-up, and eventual queen will be held to a higher standard throughout the competition and during the reign.

FOR CONTESTANTS

Any contestant found guilty of gross misconduct, violence or bullying, disrespect toward organizers, coordinators, sponsors, judges, or fellow contestants, substance abuse, immoral or damaging social media behavior, unauthorized absence from camp activities, leaking confidential information, or bringing the brand into disrepute will face immediate disciplinary action, suspension, public disqualification, forfeiture of benefits, and permanent removal from future Miss Ekimogun opportunities.

Contestants are expected to represent elegance, intelligence, culture, and maturity at all times — both online and offline.

FOR FINALISTS & RUNNERS-UP

All runners-up remain official ambassadors of the Miss Ekimogun brand throughout the tenure of the reigning queen.

Failure to honor official invitations, appearances, media obligations, or community projects without valid approval may lead to withdrawal of recognition, suspension from official activities, and loss of benefits, sponsorship privileges, or ambassadorial opportunities.

Any attempt to sabotage the reigning queen, organizers, or the integrity of the platform will attract strict sanctions.

FOR THE WINNER

The crowned queen carries the image and reputation of Miss Ekimogun globally.

The crown is a responsibility — not just a reward.

The winner must maintain excellent public conduct, professionalism, respect for cultural values, media discipline, and active participation in projects and appearances.

The organization reserves the full right to suspend, revoke, or withdraw the crown, title, endorsements, benefits, or official privileges if the queen is involved in criminal activity, fraudulent conduct, public scandals, defamatory behavior, brand sabotage, or actions capable of damaging the image of Miss Ekimogun.

Where necessary, the title may be transferred to the next qualified runner-up.

FINAL NOTICE

Miss Ekimogun 2026 is a prestigious platform built on excellence, legacy, and responsibility.

Every participant is expected to protect the integrity of the crown, the culture, and the vision of the organization.

Participation in Miss Ekimogun 2026 automatically signifies full acceptance of all rules, policies, disciplinary actions, and final decisions made by the organizing committee.

 

3.1 By registering, accessing, submitting an application, clicking “I Agree,” ticking the acceptance box, or participating in any stage of the Miss Ekimogun Beauty Pageant, all contestants, finalists, runners-up, and winners automatically acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all terms, conditions, rules, policies, and decisions of the organization.

3.2 Electronic acceptance, digital confirmation, or online acknowledgment shall carry the same validity and legal effect as a physical signature.

By adhering to these guidelines, the Miss Ekimogun Beauty Pageant will continue to uphold its mission of empowering young women, celebrating Ondo culture, and promoting excellence and professionalism.
